campuses. Your community consists of young
individuals who are living on their own for the first time and
traveling on foot or bike - often alone and at night. Your
faculty and staff are also frequenting parking garages and lots at
all hours. A whistle is a simple, yet effective tool you can
distribute at low cost. By handing out the whistles to all
of the incoming freshman each year and any new faculty and staff,
you can insure everyone on campus will know how to respond when
they hear a whistle blow. You will be empowering your
community to take responsibility for their safety and those around
them.
